Plants vs Zombies is a tower defense game developed by PopCap Games. In this game you need to protect your tower using plants. Zombies move in straight and parallel lanes. By placing different types of plants on the grass, you can defend your tower and kill the zombies.

Using sun as currency:

In this game the sun plays the currency role. The sun gives you credit to place plants. During the day the sun drops periodically. If there is no sun, there will be no currency which means you can’t place any plant to protect you. The only way out is placing sun flowers or sun-shrooms at night so that they should generate more sun for you. On that case you can afford more expensive plants.

Lane based defense:

In this game there is 5 or 6 horizontal lanes which you need to defend every single one. Most plants can only shoot straight on their own lane. Remember that plants can’t shoot behind themselves, so make sure to destroy them before they get passed your defense line.

Variety of plants:

As you level up, you can unlock different plants with different abilities which can help you build a strong defense. These plants can work as shields, shooting weapons, bombs and thieves that can steal zombies’ armors.

Zombies with different abilities:

The different zombie types and their abilities is what makes this game interesting. There are zombies with powerful abilities and weaknesses that are there to end you. Some of them can jump over you first defense, some have metal armors and some can fly. Find out what their weaknesses are and find a way to destroy them.

The ultimate savior “lawnmower”:

If a zombie gets passed of all your defense and reach the end a lawnmower will trigger clearing all the lanes. This ability can be used only once, so the next time a zombie reaches that spot, it will end the game.
